San Juan County’s Comprehensive Plan is its core and guiding document, from which all planning and management comes. Brent Lyles, Executive Director of Friends of the San Juans, makes the Comp Plan understandable in this first segment, as he explains how it works and why it came into being. In the next segment, he’ll share practical tips and information about how to provide public comment on the Comp Plan update process underway, that will shape the future for nonhuman and human life in the San Juans.
